Simplifies the assembly of contacts for transferring data and charging current between enclosures and stations. The "female" and "male" contacts are already permanently glued in the corresponding mounting plate. The contact pins are freely accessible for soldering work. 
For installation, cutouts into which the mounting plates can be glued must be made in the enclosure and in the station ("female" contact for the enclosure and "male" contact for the station).
